Commitment payments are due immediately
- All players committing to a team will also have a $250 uniform package fee that is non-refundable and payable immediately after committing to your team plus a $400 commitment deposit that is non-refundable should your player choose not to player over the summer. Both payments will be due by May 12th if your player is offered a spot and commits to a team. The remaining balance of your player dues will be split into payments due June 15, July 15, August 15, and September 15. *If a player has not paid the Commitment deposit and uniform package fee within 48 hours of being notified that they were selected for a team , the player risks losing their spot and it being offered to another player who was not offered a spot on the team.
Any player who is not a member in good standing with USA Hockey, Jr. Pirates, or a previous team will not be allowed to tryout. No exceptions.
All tryout sessions will be closed to spectators. Only rink staff, evaluators and players currently trying out will be allowed in the building during each tryout session. Doors will open to players 30 minutes prior to their assigned tryout time. One parent or guardian may enter with a 10U or 12U player only, help dress their player or tie skates, then exit immediately. All players must be checked in and all parents out of the building 15 minutes prior to the start of a tryout. No exceptions.
Adjustments may be made to coaching staff, cost, schedules, etc. during tryouts once evaluators are able to assess the skill level and number of players being taken for each team. Multiple teams may be formed in any given age group if there are enough players and goaltenders in that age group for multiple teams.
It is strongly recommended that your player make both tryouts for his/her age group but must make at least one tryout to be eligible for selection, with the only exception being an injured player.
