The Learn To Play (LTP) program is designed to introduce the game of ice hockey to beginning players in a fun environment with a progressive system geared at getting players ready to join league play.

Day/Time -

Tuesday evenings 5:30-6:15pm

Saturday morning 11:15am-12pm

WINTER 2026:

Session 2 - February  3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 21, 24, 28

SPRING 2026:

Session 1: March 24, 28, 31, April 4, 7, 11, 14, 18

Session 2: April 21, 25, 28, May 2, 5, 9, 12, 16

Ages - ALL ages welcome

Cost :

$30/class walk-on

$100/4 classes (same session only)

$200/8 classes (same session only)

Prerequisite - Participant should have passed Basic 2 or Adult 2 in the Learn To Skate Program, OR have mastered forward and backward skating and gliding and be able to stop on their own.

Players learn:
-Skating Skills

-Basic Stickhandling
-Passing
-Puck Control
-Shooting
-Structured Scrimmages
Equipment Needed: elbow pads, knee pads, helmet, hockey gloves, and a hockey stick.

*Skate rental is available at no charge for any player needing skates.  Loaner equipment may be available - contact the rink prior to your first class to reserve equipment.
