The Learn To Play (LTP) program is designed to introduce the game of ice hockey to beginning players in a fun environment with a progressive system geared at getting players ready to join league play.

Tuesday evenings 5:15-6:05pm – Sessions I, II

Thursday evenings 5:15-6:05pm – Sessions I, II

FALL 2024 SESSION I – Oct. 1, 3, 8, 10, 15, 17, 22, 24, 29, *, Nov. 5 , 7

*No class 10/31 - make up class is Saturday, 11/2 from 9:50-10:40am

FALL 2024 SESSION II – Nov. 12, 14, 19, 21, 26, Dec. 3, 5, 10, 12, 17, 19

*No Class Thanksgiving Day!

Ages - ALL ages welcome

Cost :

$30/class walk-on

$150/6 classes (same session only)

$250/11-12 classes (same session only)

Prerequisite - Participant should have passed Basic 2 or Adult 2 in the Learn To Skate Program, OR have mastered forward and backward skating and gliding and be able to stop on their own.

Players learn:
-Skating Skills

-Basic Stickhandling
-Passing
-Puck Control
-Shooting
-Structured Scrimmages
Equipment Needed: elbow pads, knee pads, helmet, hockey gloves, and a hockey stick.

*Skate rental is available at no charge for any player needing skates.  Loaner equipment may be available - contact the rink prior to your first class to reserve equipment.
